About Chris Hansen

Life is about learning. At least it is for me. I enjoy learning new things and then sharing them with other people. I’ve learned a lot about marketing, but I don’t claim to be an expert. There is so much out there, and in this day and age it is changing so quickly. So when it comes to this blog, I look at it as a continual learning process and a way to share what I learn with others.

In particular, I’ve always felt there are ways to do things—conduct business, build a house, live your life—that have less impact on the planet and its environment than the status quo. My goal with MarketGreener is to uncover the hidden gems that help us do that and about the people who are doing it.

I live in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where I’m lucky to have become part of this small, intricate, caring, passionate (etc) community. I specialize in marketing, communications and publishing and have worked here in realms that include travel, arts, real estate and building in both the non-profit and for-profit arenas. (And my posts will span these areas—sometimes poking into the outer reaches and beyond.)

I also write freelance when I can. Sometimes ski and snowboard or otherwise outdoor related, but also reviews, feature articles and some copy-writing. I may even be able to help you with your marketing needs.

When I’m not working the day-job, working on this blog or otherwise, I’m either spending time with my family or taking advantage of the out just past the back door. The skiing here is fantastic. That’s my greatest passion and much of why I’m here. And there’s so much more to do. Here also is a community of impassioned individuals. The most important part about life anywhere you choose to live.
